My older brother moved out of the house, so my parents are letting me move into his larger bedroom. They’ve given me a $2000 budget for furniture and decorating. It measures 11ft.x11ft. The north wall has a window on the far right, measuring 2ft wide and 4 ft tall, about 20 inches off the floor. The east wall has a 7ft wide closet and clearance for the bedroom door to open. The south wall has the door, on the far left when looking at it from the inside of the room. The west wall has a 4ft.x4ft. window in the center, 40 inches off the floor. The floor is a cream-colored carpet, and the walls are eggshell.
The room must have a full-sized bed, a dresser (preferably with a mirror), a desk, and a bookcase. Items I’d love but aren’t necessary are a vanity, a nightstand, and a chair (a round, saucer chair). I’m a teenage girl with very broad tastes. Don’t be afraid to get creative! I love a lot of design styles. I just want my room to look really good, maybe a little sophisticated, and trendy is always good.
